At the time of this review (an my purchase) the product descriptions states: "9-Inch loaf pan with storage cover, designed to withstand temperatures from 58-degree f below to 428-degree Fahrenheit-without warping, melting or flaking"That's all well and good except that this product did not come with a lid. If you don't want/need a lid, then that may not be a problem. But since the description specified that it comes with a lid, I expected one. That in itself is enough to knock a couple of stars off of my review.I baked a loaf of bread in it last night, and it worked great. One thing to be aware of is that as the bread rises it presses out on the pan. If you really need/want your loaf to have straight flat sides you'll either need a metal pan or possibly to put this pan inside of a metal one (haven't tried that). It's not a big deal to me, but to some it might be.Of course the main reason I bought it was because I wanted something that was easy to slide the loaf out of and clean. This product held true to that desire. The loaf slid out easily within seconds of pulling it out of the oven. I literally pulled it out and flipped it over onto a wire rack to cool. It should be noted that I did very lightly grease the pan with coconut oil, but I'm not even convinced that was absolutely necessary.Just a quick rinse was enough to get any visible residue off. The only concern with this is that the outside and top of the pan has a bumpy texture on it and I wonder if this might be harder to clean if something like banana bread was being baked in it and got on the bumpy area. I have not tested that yet, but I'm sure we'll find out in the future.Overall, I'm fairly pleased with the product, just a few minor issues and disappointment over the missing lid.

This works great for soap making, the soap comes out easy. The cleanup is a snap. The only concern I have is with all of the loaf molds I have tried so far - the sides bow out when filled to capacity. This one not as bad as some of the others. There may be a frame or something out there to keep this from happening - I have not researched it yet.

I ordered red and got terracotta. Otherwise, I like them. They make baking and cleanup a breeze. Also made a nice Christmas gift for someone who bakes alot.
