A bit too shallow

I ordered this pan after doing an Amazon search of 9 X 5 loaf pans. The nonstick surface works very well, and loaves emerge from this pan nicely browned. This pan, however, will not hold the volume of my recipes for quick breads like banana or cranberry nut bread that call for a 9 X 5 pan. The pan works fine if your recipe says to bake it in an 8 X 4 pan; because the pan is rather shallow, not the typical 9 X 5 dimensions. If you pour all your batter for a 9 X 5 loaf recipe into this pan, make sure you have a can of Easy-Off oven cleaner at the ready. Other than that, this is a good pan at a value price.
